Welcome to my site...

Knit-N-Stuff started out as just a hobby for me, purchasing my first knitting machine in 1988. I wanted a knitting machine because it would enable me to knit with finer yarns, and make the knitted item quicker than I could do by hand. I made ski hats, scarves, and sweaters for my family. It was suggested I enter a craft show since I had several hats and scarves.

My first "sale" happened by accident. I was laid off from my office job and I took one of my hats into show a co-worker. She showed it to her friend in the factory, who thought it was great and wanted to know how much I would sell it for. My first sale! I sold enough to do Christmas shopping even though I was not "working".

The following year I entered my first craft show: the Applefest in downtown Coldwater, Mi. I've participated in that show for 30+ years. I started with hats and my circle scarves aka "snoods." I pride myself to be able to guarantee my workmanship. It is a good feeling to be able to make someone happy by supplying a well Knitted product. I do 6 or so craft shows a year in the tri-state area of Ohio, Indiana, and Michigan.

I have grown in the number of products I make, and am always open for suggestions and ideas. Please feel free to browse the site and view my items. Most of them are made of acrylic yarns as they can be machine washed and dried. The dish/wash/car-polish cloths (there are many uses for what started as just a "dish cloth") and the soap bags are made of cotton yarn.
